Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin arrested in largest-ever college admissions cheating scam

The schools include Yale, Stanford, Georgetown University and the University of Southern California, federal prosecutors said. Both were charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud in indictments unsealed Tuesday in federal court in Boston.

Some of the 32 defendants are accused of bribing administrators to facilitate cheating on college-entrance exams - by having a smarter student take the test, providing students with answers to exams or correcting their answers after they had completed the exams, according to the criminal complaint filed in federal court.

Dozens of people, including prominent celebrities, are facing charges in connection with a nationwide college admissions cheating scandal.

Prosecutors say this is the largest college admissions cheating scam ever prosecuted in the U.S. Those indicted allegedly paid bribes from $200,000 to up to $6 million each to get their children into the elite schools.
