Roger Stone open to talking with Mueller in Russian Federation probe

Steve Martin’s Roger Stone Has A Message For Donald Trump In ‘SNL’ Cold Open: ‘Pardon Me’

Roger Stone asks for pity and a pardon in ‘Saturday Night Live’ cold open

It's a familiar pattern in Washington, where scandals from Watergate to Iran-Contra and Whitewater have mushroomed into presidency-imperilling affairs due to efforts to hide and mislead.

The strategy, if you can call it that, seems to be in line with Trump's longtime thought process of engaging with the media no matter how bad things may be going. Stone helped Corsi get a job in 2017 at Infowars, a website that promotes conspiracy theories, and the two were previously aligned politically; both have been staunch supporters of Trump and fierce critics of the Mueller probe.

The Stone indictment also claims the Trump campaign reached out to Stone for information on Russia's hack of Hillary Clinton's emails, suggesting Trump had no clue what Russian Federation was up to, and thus the entire Mueller investigation is a politically motivated fraud. "And secondarily, I've been under investigation for two years". USA intelligence says the Russian government was behind the hacking campaign. "Honestly, I think I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life", he said.

National Football League playoff ‘do-over’ lawsuit moved to federal court
NFL's head of officials, Alberto Riveron, admitted to Saints coach Sean Payton that the referee "had messed up" the call. A play that if called correctly, would have likely helped the Saints win the game and go on to Super Bowl 53.

A former Trump campaign adviser is coming to the defense of Roger Stone just days after he was indicted by the special counsel.

"That's a question I'd have to determine after my attorneys have some discussion". On Sunday's ABC News This Week, Stone was a little ambiguous on that point. His lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, mocked the case as "nothing more than another false statement charge" and speculated without evidence that Mueller's inquiry was nearing an end.

Stone's indictment accuses him of lying about his communications with people about WikiLeaks, which obtained Clinton-related emails and published them during the campaign.

Stone's indictment cut deeply into Trump's inner circle and revealed a link between his campaign and WikiLeaks, the online publisher of secret documents, to damage Clinton with material that U.S. intelligence agencies have said was stolen by Russians.

Introduced by Carlson as the victim of an over-zealous witch hunt lead by Robert Mueller, Martin's Stone came out strong and loud before being reminded by Carlson that he's supposed to be playing the sympathy card. He already has charged 12 Russian military intelligence officers in the hacking of Democratic email accounts, setting up the potential for prosecutions of any Americans who might be involved in that conspiracy.

"I do agree that Roger wanted me to find out from Wikileaks", he said. And I will affirm that what is in the indictment about me is accurate.
