Amid more racist insults, the recording says Abrams - who, if she wins on Tuesday, would also become the first African-American woman elected governor in USA history -has a similar ability and "is someone white women can be tricked into voting for, especially the fat ones". Kemp also said he had referred the matter to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security.

In 2016, he said a DHS computer made an unsuccessful attempt to breach the firewall guarding Georgia's voter data.

The tight race between Abrams and Kemp could go to a run-off if one of them does not get more than 50 percent or more of the votes.

Kemp, the pro-Trump Republican candidate in Georgia's governor's race, who also oversees the state's elections, made the accusation on Sunday, a move that analysts said highlighted the inherent conflict between his twin roles.

'Zero' Trailer watch | SRK brings us his trademark charm
The most awaited trailer of Shahrukh Khan's 'Zero' came and we must say that Bollywood audiences are receiving it quite well. Katrina is said to be playing an actress battling alcoholism in Zero , while Anushka is expected to play a scientist.

They say an email to them from a man not affiliated with the Democratic Party of Georgia is what prompted Kemp's request for an investigation.

The Georgia's governors race has been fraught with a race-laden debate over ballot access and voter suppression. Abrams is now favored by 46.9 percent of the voters while Kemp has 46.7 percent, recent polling from Channel 2 Action News and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution showed.

All the while, Brian Kemp, now at 48.5 (within a 3 percent margin of Abrams), tries to keep ahead with a campaign revolving around, amongst other things, eliminating state income taxes on retirement pay for military veterans and giving teachers in Georgia a $5000 pay raise, a move that is estimated to cost $800 Million, including additional expenditures like pension payment, etc. Since there's no way this matter will be settled or even explored before votes are cast on Tuesday, it's an easy partisan attack that could help energize conservative voters.

Last year, Kemp settled a lawsuit with civil rights organisations over voting rights.

Kemp, a 54-year-old businessman who has been secretary of state since 2010, has embraced President Donald Trump as he tries to extend GOP dominance in a state that hasn't elected a Democrat to its top job since 1998. Georgia's system is rated among the worst in the country, earning a D grade from the Center for American Progress's election security report.

"I don't want anyone to vote for me because I'm black", she said.

Now that Democrat Abrams stands a good chance of pulling off an upset in a conservative stronghold state, Kemp may just want to have an excuse to contest the results should the election not tip in his favor.

Speaking of issues, a win by Kemp will tell Georgia's traditionally Chamber of Commerce Republican Party to leave their suits and ties at home for the next election.

Khashoggi's Body Was 'Dissolved' After Murder - Erdogan Adviser
First came the insistence that the country had nothing to do with the disappearance of one of its high-profile critics. It later admitted he had been murdered, saying the killing was premeditated and a result of a "rogue operation".

By Monday morning, Abrams took to the airwaves to push back. "You need to vote for us because we're better". "You put Stacey in there, and you're gonna have Georgia turn into Venezuela".
