"Houston has traded Ryan Anderson and De'Anthony Melton to Phoenix for Marquese Chriss and Brandon Knight, league source tells ESPN", he reports.

The deal, first reported by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Thursday night, was made official on Friday afternoon.

For his career, Knight has averaged 15.2 points, 4.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 382 games. Chriss showed a few flashes of being a competent player this past season, but he is far from being a consistent contributor or understanding the National Basketball Association game. A career 38 percent 3-point shooter known for stretching well beyond the 3-point line, the 6-foot-10 Anderson fell nearly completely out of Houston's rotation last season, averaging just 8.6 minutes in 11 postseason games.

But the mood in South Africa today is that indeed land should be expropriated without compensation. She said: "In these cases I have to consider the merits of each application to have the bell".

Marquese Chriss has underperformed since he was drafted but let's be real, there's still a lot of time left for the Rockets to mold him into a far better player.

The Rockets have sought to trade Anderson since last offseason.

Melton was selected by the Rockets in the second round of the 2018 National Basketball Association draft.

Mr Morneau said the government needed time to study the ruling but it had the option to take the case to the Supreme Court. The news is a massive victory for environmentalists and Indigenous groups that had been fighting the project.

Knight, who missed the entire 2017-18 season after tearing his left ACL in the summer of 2017, is cleared to play this season. With the loss of Knight, the Suns plan to continue pursuing a trade for a starting-level point guard before the regular season.

The Suns now have Melton, Okobo, Shaquille Harrison and Isaiah Canaan as options at point guard. Even Anderson comes out of this deal in good position. If they don't exercise Chriss' team option before the October 31 deadline, they'll save up to $5.6 million in 2019 with the difference between Anderson and Knight's contracts. He averaged 13.6 points per game two years ago, his first season in Houston.

As a side note, Anderson agreeing to reduce his guaranteed money from $21 million to $15.6 million was a bit perplexing considering the 30-year-old won't be receiving a massive payday for the rest of his career.
