Rumored Leak Indicates Apple's New Entry Level Smartphone To Be Called iPhone XC, Per 'The Verge'

The focus will be on Apple's latest iPhones. Apple warned last week that this will raise prices for some of its popular offerings like the Watch and AirPods. The picture further shows that the affordable iPhone will come with single rear camera setup, glass back, which hints at wireless charging support.

However, if you were to skip the announcement altogether, you would miss one of the more interesting launches in recent years.

Apple is expected to release a larger version of the iPhone XS - the iPhone XS Plus, perhaps - as well as a less expensive version. Take a look below for a handful of insights on the upcoming LCD iPhone.

The other side of this argument is based on the name of Apple's new top-of-the-range model. That presentation suggests that the new devices will be named iPhone Xs, iPhone XC, and iPhone XS Plus.

Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty is positive on Apple ahead of the iPhone launches.

Apple's naming for the iPhone has seen its fair share of contradictory claims. The new iPhones will still use Lightning, and what's odd about that is that Apple will continue to ship them with a 5W charger.

While the iPhones will be the Wednesday's main attraction, Apple's growing smartwatch business will see stage time, too. The "S" name would be a return to form for Apple, which has a history of adding the letter "S" to iPhone models with updated components, new features and no major changes to the exterior design.

In just two days Apple will nearly certainly reveal at least two new iPhones, along with some other hardware. The iPhone 4S introduced Siri, the iPhone 5S introduced Touch ID and the iPhone 6S 3D touch.

We already know what the Apple Watch Series 4 will look like, with narrower bezels.

There's also word from Kuo that there'll quite possibly be a "low-price MacBook" that would replace the 12-inch MacBook in Apple Stores. Geared toward consumers and schools, the laptop may help Apple re-gain lost market share in the PC world.
