Henry Cavill's Superman is leaving the DC Universe

"The word has been out that Warner Bros. has been mulling a completely different direction with its Superman canon for some time, even considering casting Michael B. Jordan in the role down the road", the publication reported. Previously, the actor stated that Superman had grown since Man Of Steel, and it was nice to see a "refreshing" new character.

Indeed, a Warner Bros spokesperson told THR after their report was published yesterday: "We have a great relationship and great respect for Henry Cavill that continues to remain unchanged".

Donald Trump’s autumn visit to Ireland postponed
Speaking on The Marty Squad on RTE Radio One on 2 September, the Taoiseach explained: "It came a little bit out of the blue". Trump had planned a trip to his resort in Doonbeg as well as meeting Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and President Michael D.

The insider continued, "As such, Cavill will join Ben Affleck, who isn't expected to reprise his role for director Matt Reeves' forthcoming Batman stand-alone film, as a hero on the way out". To date, the only universally successful DC-pegged release was 2017's Wonder Woman, which landed both with critics and at the box office.

Cavill played Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman in Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the recent mess, Justice League.
