NBC5 reports that Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms spokesperson Suzanne Dabkowski announced that ATF officials are now at the bank after an armed suspect opened fire in the lobby and loading dock area at the Fifth Third Bank at 511 Walnut Street. Police say the suspect had never worked at Fifth Third and don't have any information linking him to other businesses in the building.
The FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have responded to the scene and are assisting Cincinnati police in their investigation, the bureaus said. "Everything transpired in the loading dock area and the lobby of the building", said the police chief, adding that it's not clear yet whether the victims were targeted.
