Royal sources say Harry and Meghan have already moved their new furry friend into Nottingham Cottage and that the whole family is doing well.

Kensington Palace declined to comment on the new arrival when asked by The Daily Mail. However, the former actress did bring her other rescue dog, a Beagle named Guy, to London with her.

It took Prince William and Kate Middleton two years after their marriage before they welcomed their first child, Prince George. In April, actor Wendell Pierce did his paternal duties in USA drama Suits, when he accompanied Markle's character, Rachel, in the climactic marriage scene, which marked her exit from the show.

Speaking about how Guy had adapted to living in the United Kingdom, he said: "I think he's doing just fine".
