Manigault Newman, a former Apprentice reality TV star who became the most prominent African American in the Trump White House, has been promoting her new book Unhinged, which offers a scathing account of life in the West Wing. Or you maybe have learned that, in her esteem at least, President Trump is being "puppeted " by Kelly.
"She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok".
Previously known for her staunch defense of the Trump administration, the former White House aide is now denouncing the president as being a "con" who "has been masquerading as someone who is actually open to engaging with diverse communities" but is instead "a racist". She was vicious, but not smart.
"Omarosa? Omarosa what's going on?" "I just saw on the news that you're thinking about leaving". Trump can be heard asking on the recording.
After Manigault Newman told Trump she'd been fired, he responded: "No, nobody even told me about it".
"No... I, I, Nobody even told me about it", Trump replies. On Manigault-Newman's tape of the conversation, released Sunday, Kelly is heard citing "significant integrity issues" as the reason for her firing.
Liverpool meet expectations in win over West Ham
Pellegrini has lost more Premier League games against Liverpool (5) than he has against any other opponent in the competition. The Kop boss accepts expectations are sky high after splashing £170m this summer and impressing in pre-season.
He continues: "I didn't know that".
'You can't trust somebody who comes into your office and smiles has a conversation and find out afterwards, they leave and private citizens they've been recording information.
Former presidential adviser Omarosa Manigault Newman says she secretly recorded conversations she had in the White House, including her sacking by chief of staff John Kelly in the high-security Situation Room.
Parts of her of the recordings were aired on NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday as Manigault Newman promoted her new book, Unhinged.
It would be one thing if Omarosa's audio broke a news story about corruption or some other abuse of power in the White House, but the only audio she has released has come from her firing - she apparently only recorded people when she knew she was on her way out. "I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me - until she got fired!"
But Trump said, "No".
PM Modi hopes Imran Khan’s Pakistan will work for peace
It is pertinent to mention here that the PTI has nominated party chief Imran Khan as its candidate for the prime minister office. The PTI has nominated Khan for the top post and he is scheduled to take oath on August 18 at the President House.
Mr Trump tweeted that she had signed a non-disclosure agreement, which presumably was meant to prevent her from revealing what had gone on at work.
"If we make this a friendly departure.you can look at your time here in the White House as a year of service to the nation and then you can go on without any type of difficulty in the future relative to your reputation", Kelly can be heard saying in a conversation reported to have taken place in the Situation Room.
She told NBC's Today show there were "multiple tapes" and warned that there were more to come. Frank Luntz, the campaign pollster who she claimed told an associate he had heard the president utter the racial slur, has emphatically denied the assertion.
In two follow-up tweets, Trump continued to disparage his former aide, saying he had "heard really bad things" about her and claiming that she "would constantly miss meetings & work".
"I'm just going to stand back and wait", she said on MSNBC.
Few have been a member of Donald Trump's inner orbit longer than Omarosa Manigault Newman. That includes audio of her being fired by chief of staff John Kelly in December (she says she wasn't fired but forced to resign). But the second the president couldn't make her famous anymore, she went on the attack. They don't walk in and say to the president, "So and so leaked something", or "So and so is fighting with this one in the White House". She has since written a book about her time with the Trump administration, which prompted President Trump to call her a "lowlife" on Twitter.
