Oscar-winning actor George Clooney was hospitalized with minor injuries after being involved in an accident while riding a motorized scooter in Sardinia, Italy, on Tuesday morning (July 10), according to local media.
He was taken to hospital with a possible injury and later discharged from the emergency room with a slight contusion on his knee, state news agency Ansa said. According to Clooney, he was going about 65 miles per hour, nothing ridiculous, when a vehicle cut him off, hitting him head-on.
An NBC News video segment said Clooney fell onto the hood of the auto.
