"I counted six shots that I heard", said Fred Poore, a neighbor.

It's a shock and a mystery to neighbors on the quiet street.

An anonymous email was sent to officials at Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School east of the U.S. city of Pittsburgh last October containing details of a police report from 2016.

School officials and members of the media received an anonymous email in October 2017, containing the 2016 Aliquippa police incident report which implied she inappropriately met with a 17-year-old boy, Times Online reported.

Authorities in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, said officers on patrol at around 1.50am on February 6, 2016 saw a auto parked up outside the old Aliquippa Hospital.

"It's shameful that this woman was painted with a police report that had been written that did not result in criminal charges", Lozier said.

Inside was DelTondo and the teen. The report concluded that "Deltondo was advised that there was better places to just talk with a former student", and further stated that the responding officer hoped not to find her in the same predicament again.

The incident report named the teen and it was confirmed that he was not registered at the charter school. Investigations uncovered a relationship between the two over Snapchat and via text messages.

CBS Pittsburgh met DelTondo previous year when she was the subject of a CBS Pittsburgh report as a bride-to-be in a dispute over her custom wedding dress.

Authorities said that it is unclear whether the incident with the teenager had anything to do with her murder. The report had not been made public until it was sent anonymously to the school.

DelTondo had been suspended after confidential information was leaked from the police department regarding an encounter between her and an underage student from another school.

Lozier told Newsweek that several agencies, including investigators with his office, Aliquippa Police and Pennsylvania State Police, are investigating.

Brian Hayden, chief executive officer of the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, said he was "saddened" by the death. However, the check never came in the mail, so the family reached out to their local KDKA-TV reporter, Marty Griffin's segment, "Get Marty". We express our sympathy to her family, friends, and coworkers.

That information led to a suspension from her teaching job at Pa. Cyber.

Earlier previous year, DelTondo was in the press over a dispute with a bridal shop over her wedding dress. "Prime of her life, and this is what happens", neighbour Philomena Rossi told CBS News.

DelTondo's fiancé reportedly called off the wedding several months after the 2016 incident.
