Most of the smartphones and even some feature phones are 4G-enabled these days, and users are hooked to using high-speed internet on their smartphones. Means, the total 54 GB will be offered in this pack. The latest in this is the Vodafone Rs. 349 recharge, which offers 3GB data per day and competes with the Jio Rs. 299 pack.

However, with the launch of new data packs BSNL has managed to stay afloat in telecom's heavy data, unlimited voice calls market.

Both Airtel and Reliance Jio are arch rivals in the telecom sector and the competition is never ending with both of the entities offering one plan over the other.

Jio also has a Rs. 509 plan that offers 4GB 4G data per day along with unlimited voice calls, 100 SMSes per day, and complimentary access to Jio apps. It has a validity of 28 days.

Moving to the data part, the plan 349 of Vodafone is offering 3GB Data per day.

Reliance Jio's prepaid plan is also bundled with free voice-calls, on local, roaming and STD in India along with the 100 SMS free per day. For the users who may exhaust the 3GB per day limit, Idea will charge them with 4paise/10KB usage. The plan also includes free caller tune service, but it does not come with any free data.

Under BSNL's STV (special tariff vouchers) of Rs 349, customers get unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. It is now available in Assam, Mumbai, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh West/East circles. Additionally, the plan also offers 100 free SMSes per day. However, it must be noted that none of these plans provides free SMS benefit. This pack is close to The Jio plan of Rs 349. However, calls to Delhi and Mumbai are not included in this plan. The new plan is essentially a revamped version of the Rs. 348 plan with 500MB more data per day.
