The Latest: Don't look for wide receivers high in draft

Derrius Guice's stunning fall down the board in the NFL Draft finally came to an end on Friday as he was selected by the Washington Redskins.

So yes, it's safe to say Guice to the Redskins might be one of the draft's most popular picks.

The final pick of Day 2 of the NFL Draft for an LSU Tiger came in the 3rd Round with Arden Key taken with the 87th overall pick by the Oakland Raiders. The NFL Network reported that Guice got into an "altercation" during his visit with the Philadelphia Eagles, and former Eagles player Brian Westbrook said the same on 97.5 FM in Philadelphia.

As a sophomore in 2016, Guice led the SEC in rushing yardage (1,387) despite only starting six of the 12 games in which he appeared, garnering first-team All-SEC honors at running back in addition to earning a second-team all-purpose selection from the league's coaches.

As a sophomore in 2016, Guice was a first-team All-SEC selection along with being named to's All-America team, as he rushed for almost 1,400 yards with 15 touchdowns despite only starting six of his 12 outings. Guice was considered a first-round possibility for Detroit.
