Chelsea have the quality to secure a top four spot in the Premier League as the race for Champions League qualification heats up, goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has said.

Chelsea have to go to Man City next and if they were to lose that game, which is likely, they could be five points behind fourth-placed Tottenham and right up against the wall.

"It still can't be classed as good enough, they had to win the league this year, but ultimately it is progression - but not good enough".

If Diego Costa was still leading the line for Chelsea, I'd have fancied them to get something out of the game at United on Sunday and he was great at bullying (and occasionally cheating) his way to success. When I was at Arsenal, Seaman and Lehman kept us in games, they didn't make mistakes at the wrong time. I, for one, look forward to seeing what goal celebration Roberto Firmino chooses to do when he scores the first goal. The fact we get to play Liverpool at home as well I think is a big advantage.

Previously unknown 'supercolony' of Adélie penguins discovered in Antarctica
Satellite images and aerial photography from drones calculated and revealed total 751,527 pairs of penguins. Even in the southern summer the surrounding ocean is filled with near inaccessible thick sea ice.

However, Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane warned that the Reds are gunning for United's second spot.

"You've got to keep going", the skipper is quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo.

Earlier this month Sky Sports asked its pundits - Paul Merson, Charlie Nicholas, Matt Le Tissier and Phil Thompson - which of the big teams would finish outside the top four.

"It stays the same, it is tough", Courtois told the club's website.

Slovakia journalist murder: Seven suspects released by police
One of the men is an Italian who had done business deals with officials close to Prime Minister Robert Fico. His last, unfinished article was published posthumously by Slovak and global media.

According to Eir Sport, Chris said: "I think obviously we've been second for quite a while and that needs to be our bare minimum".

United never ended the season lower than third in the Premier League era under Alex Ferguson but have failed to finish higher than fourth since he retired as a champion in 2013 - a side Smalling was part of.

It's a pretty ballsy prediction we must say, considering that Antonio Conte's Chelsea - who now sit in fifth - have been in the worst form of any of the top six in 2018, and travel to the Etihad to face Guardiola's superb City side this weekend.
