- Harvard Westlake High School closed Friday as a precaution. "So, out of an abundance of caution, we made the decision to close school today".

Martin played for the Dolphins in 2012 and 2013 after they selected him in the second round of the 2012 National Football League draft out of Stanford.

"We have confirmed that he's been located - the suspect, in this case", said Sgt.

Per the Los Angeles Daily News, the man was located in Southern California and detained pending further investigation by LAPD's Major Crimes Division.

First it was Russian mercenaries who were apparently killed in a February 7 clash with U.S-led coalition forces in eastern Syria .

Martin's disturbing Instagram post comes a week after 17 people were killed in a mass shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., just 33 miles from the home of the Miami Dolphins.

A patrol vehicle is seen at Harvard-Westlake's Studio City campus after classes were canceled on February 23, 2018.

Martin, who graduated from the elite private school a decade ago, posted an image of a shotgun to his verified but private Instagram account, writing "When you're a bully victim & a coward, your (sic) options are suicide or revenge". According to a report, Martin has now been moved to a mental health facility.

A Slovenian ice hockey player and a Japanese short-track speed skater have also tested positive for doping at the Games. The Russian team was banned from the games because of rife doping at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.

Drake Madison, another LAPD spokesman, told USA TODAY Sports the individual who made the threatening social media post had been detained. "I don't know what his thoughts are and I don't really care, honestly". It also included Martin mentioning former Dolphins teammates Richie Incognito and Mike Pouncey, who were at the center of the bullying scandal that featured Martin himself with the Dolphins back in 2013 (more on all there here).

Martin was a second round draft pick and landed at the Dolphins from Stanford University in 2012.

In Feb. 2014, a lengthy report by investigator Ted Wells concluded that Incognito, Pouncey and John Jerry engaged in a "pattern of harassment" directed at Martin. He also detailed previous struggles with football, saying he didn't fit in at Harvard-Westlake.

"At Harvard-Westlake, we try to teach with everything that we do, including teaching how to do things the right way and teaching what's the right way to be with every single thing we do - arts, academics, athletics, operations, everything", Barzdukas said in the article. Martin is black and Incognito is white.
