Cesc Fabregas has returned to training this week and could feature, while recent signing Ross Barkley could be handed another start after making his debut at the Emirates on Wednesday.

Alvaro Morata, Thibaut Courtois and Willian will be unavailable when Chelsea take on Newcastle United in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday [28 January] but manager Antonio Conte suggested that Cesc Fabregas may have a chance to be back.

"Morata and Courtois are out". "I don't know [how long] because it's very hard to tell, how many days they need to come back". If we want to accelerate this process, he has to play, not only have training sessions, especially at this moment after the Willian and Morata injuries.

"He is out. Today he was with the doctor with the intention to have a scam to evaluate his injury, but I don't think we are talking about a serious injury".

"It's only a small injury but Willian is out of the Newcastle game as well".

On the subject of his relationship with the board, he added: "This is normal, but at the same thing it's something I don't want to discuss with you".
