It appears that the Oakland Raiders really want ESPN color commentator Jon Gruden to be back with their organization.

Gruden coached Gannon for three seasons with the Raiders, and the former quarterback won the NFL MVP award the year after Gruden left to take a job with the Bucs.

Owner Mark Davis was "coy" when asked about the potential deal.

For all of Gruden's prestige as an analyst and Super Bowl-winning head coach, it might be surprising to recall that he hasn't coached in the National Football League in a decade, that he really only had two especially good seasons in Tampa Bay, and that one of those seasons was spent coaching a team that had been raised up from the mud by his predecessor, Tony Dungy.

Peaceful Protests Constitutional Right of Iranians - President Rouhani
Nikki Haley, the USA ambassador to the United Nations, said, "The Iranian government is being tested by its own citizens". The Mehr news agency reported Sunday that the two protesters were killed in Doroud, in Iran's Lorestan province.

After departing from the Raiders, Gruden moved on to become the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2002-2008.

Last year, Del Rio led an overperforming Raiders roster to a 12-4 finish. They lost their last four games in succession and were sloppy and non-competitive for long chunks of the season.

The Raiders were a trendy preseason pick to make the Super Bowl, but the Silver and Black have been very disappointing as they enter Week 17 with a 6-9 record.

Those reports indicate Gruden could receive $10 million in salary and an ownership stake. As it turns out, Gruden may return to coach the Raiders.

However, when Himachal Pradesh MLA Asha Kumari tried to join this exalted league, the tabled turned surprisingly on her. Following this, she got agitated and to the shock of everyone slapped the lady constable.

ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen first reported Saturday evening that the Raiders could have interest in bringing Gruden back into the fold. The mere possibility of Gruden coming back will create as much or more excitement among the fan base than it did in Tampa, where Gruden was recently added to the Ring of Honor.

Gruden has always been rumored as a coaching candidate for multiple teams since entering the broadcast booth as color commentator for Monday Night Football back in 2009. The list includes Jon and brother Jay Gruden, the Washington Redskins' head coach, - plus Del Rio. With at least another year in Oakland and a future that consists of playing in a still-undetermined location for 2019 and Las Vegas as soon as 2020, the Raiders need sizzle and excitement - far more than what bringing Marshawn Lynch out of retirement did in 2017. ESPN first reported Oakland's intentions.

Gannon never has coached; he went straight to broadcasting upon his retirement.
