The final season of the show is currently in production so there will be plenty of time to try to spoil how it all shakes out between now and then.

The final season of the Emmy Award-winning show is expected to reveal which of the warring families in the fictional Seven Kingdoms of Westeros will win the multigenerational struggle for control of the Iron Throne.

After long speculation about the air date of the eighth and final season, the HBO show is taking a year off and will return with the new season.

The news comes on the same day it emerged Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin has seen another of his books, Nightflyers, given the greenlight by Syfy in the United States and Netflix internationally.
