Home and Away actress Jessica Falkholt has had her life support turned off, nearly three weeks after a horrific Boxing Day auto crash that killed her parents and sister. While she has undergone several surgeries, she remains in a coma.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Jessica's life support was switched off on Thursday evening local time, one day after her parents and sister were laid to rest.

The hospital on Friday confirmed Jessica's life support had been switched off, saying it will provide the next update on Jessica's condition at midday and again at 4.30pm.

Her sister Annabelle, 21, initially survived, but died three days later in the hospital on December 29.

Jessica's family were farewelled at a ceremony at St Mary's Catholic Church in Concord on Wednesday.

Ms Falkholt and her sister Annabelle were pulled from the crash, as the vehicles went up in flames, but her parents died in the burning auto, along with the 4WD's driver.

Their parents, Lars and Vivian, were killed instantly.

The 29-year-old found fame on the small screen as Hope Morrison in Home and Away, with the long-running TV soap paving the way for her feature film debut in the forthcoming supernatural thriller Harmony.

According to The Telegraph, Whitall's driving record includes four jail sentences for traffic offenses, a nine-year driving ban, and "at least 10 convictions for driving while disqualified".
