Friday should see decreasing clouds, but slowly with highs in the 60s. While there's no truly cold air behind our cold front, temperatures will ease back closer to 50 degrees later Wednesday and that's where we should top out for Thursday as well. It'll be a dry weekend with mainly sunny skies. Now this afternoon we have partly cloudy skies overhead. This one will probably carry enough moisture to spawn a few showers between about 10 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday. Another cold front is making its way to Louisiana, and this time, the front should be much stronger. As I've discussed throughout this week, these showers will be light, scattered, and all-rain. The tranquil weather pattern likely continues into early next week, although a noticeably colder weather pattern could try to set up later in the week and then continue through the middle of the month. These showers will last basically all day. Rain and thunderstorms are likely on Monday and Tuesday. We start off with lots of sunshine, but the clouds begin to roll in this afternoon. Then overnight, temperatures will fall to the mid 40s.

As expected, thermometers across most of New Jersey aren't very cold - most (not all) spots are in the 40s and 50s.
