Rep. John Conyers, the longest serving member of Congress and former head of the all-important Judiciary Committee announced this morning that he will leave the office he has saw faithfully and successfully served. Conyers, who said only that he was retiring Tuesday, but not resigning, denied any wrongdoing in the interview and endorsed his son to replace him in the House.

"When Rep. Conyers inappropriately touched me like this", said Grubbs, as reported by the paper, "my eyes would pop out and I would be stunned in disbelief". Another woman spoke up last night and claimed Conyers groped her in church.

"I was taught by a great woman, my mother, to honor women", Conyers wrote, according to the congresswoman. Conyers has denied all the allegations, and on Tuesday, wrote the accusations off as "politics".

"We will discuss in the next day or so what Mr. Conyers plans to do". Conyers settled a wrongful dismissal claim in 2015 with a former employee who said he fired her because she said no to his sexual advances.

A "super blue moon eclipse" might seem like the unicorn of astronomical events but we last experienced one in September of 2015. The Moon's orbit around our planet is tilted so it usually falls above or below the shadow of the Earth.

"Oh, absolutely not", Conyers said.

"My legacy can't be compromised or diminished in any way by what we're going through now".

He added, "I want you to know that my legacy will continue through my children".

"I think an ethics investigation will vindicate him", said Charles Williams, with Solomon Baptist Church.

Margot Robbie has some advice for DC producers
Robbie's personal vision for Harley's next step is one that could fit either a solo movie or Gotham City Sirens , as it turns out. Margot Robbie is the only actress who has signed on to the movie, with Jared Leto rumored to be reprising his role as the Joker.

When asked if Congress should disclose the details of settlements made by other lawmakers in cases of sexual misconduct or harassment, Conyers replied with "a strong, unequivocal yes".

While Conyers maintains he would be retiring immediately, CBS News' Steve Chaggaris reports that Conyers' resignation from the House will trigger a special election to replace him to be called by the governor, per MI law. "When I return to Detroit I look forward to our national media taking a thorough look at all candidates to replace my uncle @RepJohnConyers".

Since the allegations, both House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and House Majority Leader Paul Ryan have called for Conyers to resign. Pelosi's call for Conyers' job last Thursday was a 180 from her earlier comments: Last Sunday, Pelosi defended Conyers on Meet the Press, calling him an "icon" and dismissing his accusers' claims.

Conyers' attorney Arnold Reed tweeted Monday that he and the congressman will appear on the 102.7 FM Mildred Gaddis radio show on Tuesday at 10:15 a.m.to announce the Detroit Democrat's decision on whether he plans to stay in Congress.

Here five key players to watch, all of whom I believe will, one way or another, have a big say in who comes out victorious. The Portuguese tactician knows a defeat could spell an end to their title challenge.

The 88-year-old congressman is facing several sexual harassment allegations from former staff members. The settlement was first reported by BuzzFeed News. Bloom previously represented Hollywood executive Weinstein, who is accused of sexual misconduct by a number of women.
