"And for us to put outselves out there to try and show America who this man is and especially how he views women - for them to say, 'Meh, we don't care, ' it hurt". If one of the most prominent women in Trump's orbit thinks these allegations should be given a hearing, it makes it very hard for Trump (or Sanders) to cast this all as a some sort of partisan witch hunt by Democrats bitter about having lost the election.

More trouble looms for controversial US President Donald Trump after three women who in the past accused him of sexual misconduct are all demanding immediate congressional inquiry into the matter.

Mr Trump has previously denied any allegations of sexual misconduct while a White House spokesperson slammed the claims in a statement. Among their ranks are his ex-wife Ivana, who once described her husband raping her in Trump Tower in a fit of rage after a botched scalp surgery. Holvey accused Trump of personally inspecting her and the other 2006 Miss USA candidates during a contest event that year.

"These allegations are credible, they are numerous". All of them urged the president to step down following the announced resignations of Senator Al Franken and Congressman John Conyers over sexual harassment allegations.

On Tuesday morning, Trump tweeted that he didn't know or had never met any of his accusers, in apparent contradiction of the White House line that witnesses to the interactions would exonerate him.

Palestinian leader won't meet Pence in snub over Jerusalem move
"There will be no meeting with the vice president of America in Palestine", diplomatic adviser Majdi al-Khaldi told AFP . The annoucement drew criticism from every other member of the UN Security Council at an emergency meeting on Friday.

The White House accused three of the 19 women who allege that President Donald Trump sexually harassed or assaulted them of engaging in a "publicity tour" to spread their "false claims", which the White House maintains are politically motivated.

While the Russian Federation investigation has clouded his administration for months, the charges of sexual misconduct have recently gained new prominence as a wave of similar allegations have led to resignations and firings of powerful men in Congress, Hollywood and the media.

Earlier Monday, Gillibrand and three other US senators called on Trump to resign over the allegations.

"I know that he was elected", she said.

Mr Trump's voice can be heard on the Entertainment Tonight programme with host Billy Bush, speaking disparagingly about women's body parts and saying: "when you're a celebrity they let you do anything".

Israeli security guard stabbed at Jerusalem's central bus station
Two Palestinians were killed in the latest Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip on Saturday, that injured another 25 Palestinians. The man has no ties to terrorist groups and committed the attack as a "lone wolf", according to Hebrew media reports.

"I'm just hoping it continues forward and it grows", said Leeds about the #MeToo movement.

Trump and his administration have denied these claims repeatedly. "And we should all be willing to listen to them".

But over the weekend, several Democratic lawmakers called on Trump to resign over the allegations and Nikki Haley, Trump's ambassador to the United Nations, told CBS' "Face the Nation" that the president's accusers "should be heard".

Many of Trump's accusers, contrary to the statement, were not publicly contradicted by eyewitnesses.
