BREAKING NEWS: Tokyo-bound flight with Chrissy Teigen on board returns to LAX after an 'unauthorized person' was found on board

As part of the airline's security procedure, the pilot in command made a decision to return to the originating airport, where the passenger was disembarked.

A US government official with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press that the incident involved two brothers - one ticketed on ANA and the other on a United Airlines flight leaving about the same time.

"Taking off! Please don't be the same menu please don't be the same menu", she tweeted.

"At the time during the flight, the pilot in command was presented with information about the discrepancy in the passenger manifest". Why not just land in Tokyo and send the other person back? 150 people have been majorly inconvenienced, please, just tell me", she wrote, later adding, "They keep saying the person had a United ticket. "We are on ANA", she wrote. A Twitter user named Raffy snapped a selfie with Teigen and Legend and posted it as his first-ever tweet.

Roughly five hours after the whole mess started, Teigen said they were boarding a new plane. And the brunette beauty said she was feeling "forgiving", but had she been drinking, it could have gone very differently. The man, instead, had a ticket for a United Airways flight, according to reports.

In its statement, the airline said it is investigating how the erroneous boarding occurred and offered apologies to those who were inconvenienced.
