A woman's courageous antics went viral after footage showed her picking up a shark, wrestling with and before and throwing it back into the sea.

A Sydney woman has been dubbed "the shark wrangler" after being spotted casually lifting a bronze whaler out of an ocean swimming pool and dropping it into the sea.

An Australian estate agent who picked up a shark and heaved it out of a beachside swimming pool played down her bravery today and said she would have thought twice had it been a great white. "I was feeling sorry for him", she said.
