In the arrest report, police noted "a rock-like substance on the floor board where his feet were" in Rushing's vehicle.

Orlando officers pulled Rushing over for a traffic violation, the Sentinel said. 64-year-old Daniel Rushing was slapped with drug possession charges and subsequently arrested in December 2015.

The 64-year-old told the Orlando Sentinel that even after he was clear of the charges, it was hard for him to move on, as the arrest was still visible on his records.

Officers said it was meth and took Rushing to jail on a possession of methamphetamine with a firearm charge where he spent 10 hours before posting $2,500 bond. He told the publication that no one was interested in hiring him as soon as they saw from his online records that he had been arrested.
