Xiaomi has a big event going on today, while everyone was waiting for the company to reveal the Mi Mix 2 the company has launched it's next NoteBook called Mi NoteBook Pro.

One of the major highlights of the laptop is the fingerprint sensor, which is compatible with Windows Hello. The flagship notebook also features a built-in fingerprint scanner embedded into the trackpad. The Mi Notebook Pro is wrapped in magnesium alloy material.

Moving on, the keyboard is backlit and the company has claimed that the keyboard area is 19 percent larger than the MacBook Pro.

The mid-range option drops the RAM to 8GB, while the entry-level Mi Notebook Pro also drops the processor down to a Core i5 8250U.

Xiaomi has introduced the Mi Notebook Pro in three variants - Intel Core i7 with 16GB RAM which is starting at CNY 6,999 (approximately Rs. 68,700), Intel Core i7 with 8GB RAM at CNY 6,399 (approximately Rs. 62,900), and Intel Core i5 with 8GB RAM at CNY 5,599 (approximately Rs. 55,000).

As with many non-Apple laptops, the Mi Notebook Pro comes with a greater range of ports: two full-size USB 3.0 ports, a full-size HDMI port, an SD card reader and two USB-C ports - with the one closest to the hinge doubling as the power socket as well.
