It's slated to arrive on September 29 for $80; those who nab one will get the console itself, along with two wired SNES controllers and a collection of 21 games loaded onto the system for free. Nintendo pulled the plug on the product not long after it debuted, leaving people with the option of missing out on the device or buying one from a scalper.
"We. can confirm that it will be made available for pre-order by various retailers late this month", the gaming giant posted on Facebook regarding the SNES Classic a short time ago.

Of the three pitchers Sandy Alderson and company received, only one ( Callahan ) is close to the Majors at this point. Before his trade from Arizona, the righthander had even spent a portion of the season in the minors.
The SNES Classic Edition, in case you've been living in a cave for the past month or so, is a tiny version of the original Super Nintendo Entertainment System, complete with controllers that match the original. Walmart says the console was "mistakenly made available" prior to its official release date. They say that a significant number of additional systems will be sent out to stores for launch day, and throughout the balance of the calendar year.
Walmart's online store listed preorders for the system on the evening of July 21, but these orders ended up being cancelled due to what the mega-retailer called a "site glitch". The reason for this is that Nintendo would now shift their focus to developing games for the Nintendo Switch and continuing its support for the 3DS.

Temperatures in Phoenix reached a high of 103 degrees at 4.33pm on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. According to authorities, the child had been in the vehicle for several hours before he was found.
Still, don't be surprised to see the SNES Classic Edition become a hard to find item rather quickly. During its launch, Nintendo did recognize its shortcomings in dealing with the high demand for its legacy console during its run and are promising that they'd be manufacturing "significantly more" units with the SNES Classic.
