If you're hoping to get a shot at the beta on PC, you're going to have to wait until August.
The open beta test for Destiny 2 is right around the corner, and Bungie has released a new trailer to stoke the hype. After all, when you have new ones like Dawnblade Warlock, Arcstrider Hunter or the Sentinel Titan to choose from, it gets more exciting than the original game was.
In the open beta there will be two competitive multiplayer modes and one cooperative mode.

The studio, though, promised that Control will arrive at the beta phase with "some impactful changes". While you will get rewards as you play, Bungie says that the beta won't be representative of how characters will grow in the final game.
Bungie has detailed what content will be featured in the Destiny 2 Open Beta, which kicks off on July 18th for those who pre-ordered and July 21st for everyone else.
