Trump interviews two more FBI director candidates

After Comey's dismissal, news reports emerged that Trump asked Comey to end the Flynn probe during a February meeting in the Oval Office the day after Flynn was sacked for misrepresenting his contacts with the Russian ambassador.The account, first reported by the New York Times, was based on a memo Comey wrote after the meeting.

Former FBI director James Comey was sacked by the president earlier this month.

The Associated Press reported on May 19 that Comey had agreed to testify before the committee after Memorial Day. The president reportedly told Comey, "I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go".
