President Donald Trump's son-in-law and White House Senior Adviser Jared Kushner has remained defiant amid reports he met with a Russian ambassador and banker and wants to clear his name in front of a Senate Intelligence Committee. A date has not yet been set, the sources said.
According to Hunt, the meeting is a first step toward Kushner providing documents to the panel and answering its questions.
ABC News reported in late May that contacts between Kushner and Russian officials are of interest to both congressional and FBI investigators looking into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
UFC Auckland Results: Mark Hunt Possibly Retires Derrick Lewis with TKO Win
The injury seemed to bother Lewis all week leading up to the fight, which obviously played a role in his performance against Hunt. The 27-year-old moves up from featherweight to face former Ultimate Fighter victor Pearson, who has lost three on the bounce.
Kushner has reportedly agreed to speak privately with Intelligence committee staff. That did not mean, however, that Kushner is suspected of committing a crime or that the investigators intend to charge him.
Mr. Warner told reporters the committee is "in discussions" with Mr. Mueller about avoiding conflicts in their respective investigations - in addition to assuring that the committee gains access to former FBI Director James Comey's memos detailing his conversations with Mr. Trump.
The committee is one of several entities investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russian Federation.

It's unclear when he will meet with members of the committee, the source added, and no date has been set.
"He will do the same if he is contacted in connection with any other inquiry", Kushner's lawyer, Jamie Gorelick, said in a statement obtained by ABC News in late May.
The White House has characterized the meeting as part of Kushner's role as a transition adviser and conduit for the State Department.
