In a few months after MH370 went missing, Flight MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was shot down in eastern Ukraine. The passengers helped the flight crew restrain the passenger, a Sri Lankan national who was apparently drunk.

"We appreciate Calvin's time and contributions to our organization and wish him nothing but the best in Cleveland", said Maccagnan.

Throughout the past month, rumors have swirled around the National Football League that the Jets were actively shopping Pryor to any buyer.

In exchange for Pryor, the Browns sent LB Demario Davis to the Jets. He returns to the Jets, where he had started all 16 games for the previous three seasons.

Trade tops agenda as Trump hosts Vietnamese leader
Budget carrier VietJet, which has a market value of $1.7 billion, said in January it has revived plans for an overseas listing. The deal also had strategic implications for Vietnam , a country of 90 million nestled against China's southern border.

By dealing Pryor, the Jets are somehow left with just three of the 12 players then-GM John Idzik selected in the '14 draft, which seems impossible. Injuries have taken their toll, and he's not been much of a playmaker since his 2012 peak season in Tennessee. According to ProFootballFocus.com, he has 30 career run stops and 23 missed tackles. The Jets will owe Davis $3.8 million in 2017 and Cleveland will eat $1 million in dead cap space.

Pryor skipped the first practice of OTAs last week, a move that fueled speculation that he was upset about the Jets drafting two safeties. Davis thanked Cleveland's owners, coaches and teammates on his Instagram page. Besides, saving the career of a player named Pryor is something the Hue Jackson staff has already done once in their limited time in Cleveland.

"I have nothing but good things to say about this 1st class organization, that's on its way to shocking the world", Davis wrote.
