With its newly unveiled luxurious train, Tejas Express, between Mumbai and Goa, the ministry aims at redefining the rail travel experience. Sources said that the hard terrain in the rains may pose to be a hurdle.

The first run will begin soon after the inauguration and is expected to build traction by June.

Railways plan to introduce similar trains on Delhi-Chandigarh and Delhi-Lucknow routes soon. Speed India's first premium train will run at an average speed of 130kmph.
