Facebook announced a new refreshed user interface for its standalone Messenger application that brings about subtle yet important changes in the way the service functions. That is, if you're one of those people who today taps the Marketplace button in Facebook just to clear the red dot from your screen, prepare to start clicking around Messenger more following the update. Users will get notified on single Facebook App and they can reply from News Feed.
Merged notifications is now being tested for Facebook, Messenger and Instagram. Last month the social network giant also made some changes to the app, which let people have access to various capabilities inside the messenger. This means when scrolling through the Facebook Newsfeed it is possible to tap one button and see if you have any new Instagram or Messenger notifications.
