After Comey, who should Trump fire next? Sean Spicer

During the chaos, Press Secretary Sean Spicer gave an impromptu briefing with Fox Business from the White House grounds... then literally disappeared into the shadows.

The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), said Friday that if President Trump has any recorded conversations with former FBI Director James Comey, he must release them to Congress...

Mr Spicer agreed, noting that all Americans are entitled to their First Amendment rights, but said Mr Comey should not divulge classified information. She added he had "politicized" his role, contending that even the Federal Bureau of Investigation had acknowledged Comey had given inaccurate information to Congress recently.

Trump didn't help tamp down speculation that Spicer could be sent packing when he refused to say that he would be staying in the job.

Saracens aim to prevail over Clermont power in Champions Cup final
Clermont desperately needed a foothold in the game and they have too much class in their ranks not to find a response. Farrell kicked Saracens further ahead with a penalty but Clermont struck back instantly.

"I had a tape recorder, but the implication was this was a precaution to make double sure I quoted him accurately", said Blair, author of "The Trumps: Three Generations of Builders and a President". The world moves too quickly for press briefings to be limited to Trump showing up once every couple of weeks.

While senior White House officials and Vice President Mike Pence maintained that Trump fired Comey on the Justice Department's recommendation, the president later dismissed that account, insisting that he made the decision alone and would have fired Comey regardless of the recommendation. The buzz in Washington is that Trump is a fan of Sarah Huckabee Sanders and that Spicer's on thin ice but I wonder if Spicer will surprise everyone by quitting soon instead. "The chance of "countless" agents calling the White House to complain about their director - and being routed to the deputy White House press secretary - is precisely 0 percent".

"It's always the President's decision".

While Spicer has faced widespread ridicule for his showings in the briefing room, it's now clear that not even the most talented press secretary would fare any better.

Macron wins French presidency but hurdles remain in campaign to governEmmanuel Macron steps into his new role as France's President-elect.

According to both AP and the New York Times, Trump has directed his anger at the bipartisan fallout from Comey's firing onto his communications team.

"If she could ask for anything for her birthday, she would probably ask you guys to be nice to her mommy", she said with a smile.

President Trump would think that by placing a young woman on the other side of the toughest newsroom in the free world, the situation for him would become easier.
